What a wonderful sight, <br />it will be for us to see; <br />Our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, <br />coming in all glory. <br />Coming to take his children, <br />to his kingdoms shore, <br />To dwell in the place of the most high God, <br /> to live forever more. <br />Oh what heart ach and misery, <br />the world will then go through; <br />The day Christ comes for his own, <br />and the rest left sad and blue. <br />Blue because they did not know, <br />the one and only true God; <br />As through their life they traveld <br />and down the paths they trod. <br />For the world does not care, <br />what tomorrow may bring; <br />As long as they can live today <br />and do their own thing. <br />But the pleasures of this life, <br /> they never last you see; <br />Today there here, tomorrow there gone, <br />where in life will you be? <br />Only the pleasures of the Lord, <br />can last your whole life through! <br />And the Lord will only give, <br />The things that best for you! <br />And when your life upon this earth, <br /> finally comes to an end; <br />Who will be there with you? <br />Who will be your friend?<br /><br />Dwayne Bailey<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-wonderful-sight/
