I painted my life's canvas <br />With bold strokes of the brush <br />Where I found my petty wishes <br />All broken and completely crushed <br /> <br />And random colours of silence <br />Filled my shattered life <br />And forced me to take my last <br />Journey and this unbearable drive <br /> <br />For all the major avenues <br />In my life's bare ground <br />Were tied in the tight knots <br />And gave a vacant look around <br /> <br />Where I couldn't make or plan <br />Unconditional acceptance's word <br />That I wished to conquer with <br />Miracles and prayer's word <br /> <br />And then atlast I gave up <br />Knowing that my dreams were crushed <br />Under the cruel foot steps <br />Of the bold strokes of the brush.<br /><br />Seema Chowdhury<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/bold-strokes/
