'Twas the night before Christmas <br />Poemhunter style <br />The poems were unfolding <br />And caused me to smile <br />There must be some magic <br />Still left in my pen <br />My thoughts began forming <br />Quite beautifully when................... <br />My mind was distracted <br />By some sort of noise <br />That sounded like static <br />Ah, , , , , , technical toys <br />And then my computer <br />Began to sing tunes <br />Some old Christmas carols <br />That Bing Crosby croons <br />'Bout snow and white Christmases <br />Long, long ago <br />Sweet childhood memories <br />These songs that I know <br />'Twas then I remembered <br />Two years had gone by <br />Since we became partners <br />Poemhunter and I <br />A wonderful present <br />I found on this site <br />And wonderful friendships <br />Have grown since that night <br />So to all fellow poets <br />I send you much cheer........................... <br />May your season be merry <br />And a Happy New Year!<br /><br />Linda Ori<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/christmas-cheer-6/
