Sudden sound below the den <br />I hear it now, I heard it then <br />This sound is piercing, it shakes the walls <br />This sound is almost like screams, like calls <br />I hear this sound and I freeze, my heart beats <br />The walls shake, my bed is cold and so are the seats <br /> <br />A sound comes again, this time with orders of rage <br />‘Straighten up and fight or you will die, stay, stay in the cage’ <br />Now I am scared, I start to lose my heart, strength and hope <br />What is happening, what is all this, I cannot cope <br />Suddenly the piercing sound stops and I am left frail <br />I have woken but not left the hell, for I realize this is jail<br /><br />Always A Silent Girl<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/jail-6/
