Did anyone see me yesterday? <br />I was here and outside and ready to play <br />I had my ball and my trainers on <br />And was waiting to see who would come along <br /> <br />I stood for a long time and watched and waited <br />Looked left and looked right <br />And in loads of places <br />But no-one appeared for simply ages <br /> <br />I was sure they had said to meet me here <br />So I waited alone for someone to appear <br />I was feeling a fool, lonely and cold <br />I was sure this place was the place I was told <br /> <br />I took a wander around the park <br />I stayed there a long time until it got dark <br />Then I got scared and just ran away <br />Tomorrow someone will come out to play.<br /><br />jennifer jane pryce<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/no-one-came/
