Why his absence made me pale and mute? <br />Why his presence was so exclusive? <br />Why I m so dull and wan now? <br />Why still I wait for his Knock? <br />….. <br />I m trapped with all questions, <br />My mind jiggles and seeks for a response, <br />But, no where I strike with my request ‘for answers’, <br />He has forgot me, <br />That what I can close with, <br />But... <br /> <br />Time spent with him, <br />Remember me always, <br />I was packed with his stylish words, <br />Where he showcased me his false feeling, <br />And try to prove ‘my worth’, <br />He portrayed me to dream alike, <br />But… <br /> <br />His ‘likely’ dreams was a fake baggage, <br />In which I got sleighed with time, <br />His fondness was the warmth of my life, <br />And I never thought, it will hold distress, <br />But... <br /> <br />I was wrong, <br />A fond lover, <br />And slacked myself with his thoughts, <br />His abrupt departure from my life prove, <br />Love is a 'Thing', <br />Which prick and sting... <br />I got dwell with his Fakeness, <br />And it has heaved me only to discomfort... <br />But… <br /> <br />Now, no where I indicate myself, <br />Target of a loosen love stream, <br />So I won’t cry anymore, <br />And slog my life after him, <br />But.. <br /> <br />Will hold a fresh start, <br />To see life with a second chance...<br /><br />Richa Dhodi<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-second-chance-15/
