Interment flakes, individually designed, <br />Falling from heaven in a serenity of gray <br />On the ground and in trees and frozen streams <br />Combining flakes, resting where assigned <br /> <br /> <br />Snow on the mountains, on the ground it lay <br />An image of water, transformed uniquely, <br />Creating a cover, as a blanket of white, <br />For all to enjoy, and for children to play, <br /> <br />As it covers the trees, bending its limbs, <br />Coating the slopes as a tempting slide, <br />So beautiful and clean, a freshness of new, <br />The singing of nature, with its beautiful hymns <br /> <br />Yet cold and wet, with a freezing sting, <br />For all to enjoy, yet all to respect, <br />It’s purpose intended, to nourish this earth, <br />Providing air as fresh, as a cool shower spring, <br /> <br />B J Ayers<br /><br />B.J.
