Hear the phone ring <br />I check the number <br />It’s you <br />I don’t answer <br />The ringing stops <br />But then my mobile beeps up <br />It’s you again <br />And I feel my heart stop <br />I try to ignore it but <br />I can’t my heart pushes too hard <br />And I answer <br />I remain silent <br />As though i’m not even there <br />You know I am <br />And you burst into tears <br />You apologize <br />But I still don’t say <br />You ask if i’m there <br />I make a noise <br />My hearts about to break <br />Break like it did when you rang <br />I’m short of breathe <br />You can sense something wrong <br />And say <br />“babe please let me see you <br />Let me help you take this pain <br />Let me remove the wall you’ve put up that I cannot climb” <br />I stutter slowly <br />“I can’t do this anymore <br />I’ve been hurt to long <br />For you to condole me <br />I must move on” <br />Your in tears again and say <br />“please don’t go away <br />Please don’t leave you’re my sunshine <br />You’re my star <br />Your everything I live for without you <br />I’m gone I have nothing to live for” <br />I’m not sure what to say my head says hang up <br />But heart says stay <br />Do listen to my heart again or do I walk away <br />I’m so confused <br />How can my body be trying to make to different decisions <br />For the same person <br />I breath deeply <br />And say <br />“I love you, ” I can hear him say that too <br />“but you scared my you broke my heart and now im not sure what to do” <br />Do I stay with the guy I love <br />Who broke me in two <br />And give him a chance to put me together <br />Or do I finally pull away?<br /><br />beautifully broken xxx<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/do-i-go-or-do-i-stay/
