Alone in tune with the whitewashed room <br />Grainy beats from the air conditioner <br />Reverberate and hang in the air they loom <br />White noise drowns her thoughts and every other. <br /> <br />Calm and fitting, when is juxtaposed <br />To her wild head thoughts that imagine <br />Yet tries she does, stay true and composed <br />Quell this revving of the engine. <br /> <br />Warm and bothered admist the cool <br />From walking along out in the heat. <br />Searching, finding, like a fool <br />Getting this room was such a feat. <br /> <br />Befriends the clock that hangs on the wall, <br />Telling her stories as time ticks by; <br />But tick it can, and that is all, <br />Yet but a companion so very fly. <br /> <br />She guessed, this poem is getting long <br />So she writes to wrap up this last stanza. <br />Maybe later she'll burst into a song, <br />Or even start to draw some manga. <br /> <br />24Jan08<br /><br />Tiffanie Lein<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/room-2/
