Time and again <br />I end up falling for them <br />Though the titles do tell the sad tale <br /> <br />When will I ever, ever <br />Learn to read “Writer’s Block” NEVER <br />Both the titles and the poems are so stale <br /> <br />Writers block <br />There’s a shock! <br />They have run out of fresh things to say <br /> <br />Well here is a clue <br />Free from me to you <br />Then just don’t write till another day! <br /> <br />It makes no sense <br />There’s no recompense <br />For any reader who gets sucked in it <br /> <br />If writers block comes your way <br />Then your poem will have nothing to say <br />Please don’t bother to even begin it <br /> <br />Have pity on readers like me <br />Scanning for poems hopefully <br />While you are sitting there safe in your home <br /> <br />Though we have simple needs <br />We search for interesting reads <br />“Writers. Block” never makes a good poem! <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Seriously, JUST SAY NO when you have the impulse to write a poem <br /> about your “Writer’s Block”.
