Death is but a toll of the bell <br />Ringing for the owner to come back home <br />And the owner <br />Who had secretly escaped into a dimension <br />Called life <br />Would slowly wither <br />As he hears his mother bell calling <br />People’s tears would rain <br />People his life had touched <br />So he will leave <br />To the people, for a world unknown <br />Darkness enveloping <br />Death’s covered veil. <br />Anguished cries of people <br />Bade farewell to the departed, <br />And the dead will awake <br />From a slumber of infinity, <br />To find out that he has not returned home. <br /> <br />Instead had sailed into the realm <br />Of no return. <br />And all is forgotten. <br />The bell will toll again <br />Waiting for her lost son <br />Yet to return. <br />But never to arrive <br />For the bell <br />Is death itself.<br /><br />Izobelle Pulgo<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/death-is-but-a-toll-of-the-bell/
