War 2003 <br />positively infuriated me <br />the casualties of the innocent <br />Our troops <br />in the armed forces <br />shot down in their prime <br />time after time <br />for no reason at all <br />our brothers and sisters had to fall <br />to the command of the war <br />But, who was keeping the score? <br />They brought down the regime <br />at the time so it seemed <br />so, what did that mean? <br />The need to control <br />has unfold <br />the untold stories <br />of how a war was won <br />when it had only begun <br />Since then we have seen <br />countless casualties <br />When they thought it was done <br />a new war begun <br />on a rampage to kill <br />just for the thrill <br />suicide attacks <br />lives we can't get back <br />The debate to wait <br />or... <br />anticipate an escape <br />from reality <br />The connections, no direction <br />just confusion on a mission <br />in transition <br />The decisions that were made <br />contemplating which steps to take <br />initiated plans and demands <br />But... <br />who has the upper hand? <br />So many years have past <br />how long will this war last? <br /> <br />(2003) <br /> <br />(Revised on Jan 20,2008)<br /><br />MAXINE P.
