I chose to die, <br />I should have smiles tonight. <br />This place is none for bitter lies, <br />I thought i chose what's right. <br />I thought that death is an escape <br />from pain and all my fears. <br />I thought that death is all but peace, <br />but here, peace never cares. <br />I thought that pain would die with me, <br />that tears have no place here. <br />But pain endures...and tears endure; <br />eternal may they be? <br />I dreamed, i thought...i always thought <br />that death could set me free. <br />I wish I could just die again, <br />or lose my memory. <br />Are souls eternal?
