I wept. <br />A strange word that, <br />it looks so odd there <br />on the paper, no sense <br />of pain, of tears, of heaving <br />lungs that are so choked <br />there is no room for air, <br />just letters sitting gently <br />on the page, the screen <br />holding a world of heartbreak <br />in four letters. <br />I need. <br />Oh how I need you. <br />Some future moment <br />in my life adding <br />to the sum of my existence <br />to echo light with dark <br />and vice versa <br />not completing but <br />enhancing all that we are, <br />magic shared becomes <br />unstoppable. <br />I want. <br />Another word <br />with secrets hiding <br />in its corners, so gentle <br />a beginning bringing teeth <br />together, strong statement <br />at the end makes <br />an announcement, not needy <br />does not mean I do not need <br />I cannot weep, I do not want <br />companionship. <br />I feel. <br />Oh so alone at times, <br />look sideways in a movie <br />so the laughter can be shared, <br />dropp a spoon and pick it up <br />myself unless some waiter <br />all observant is nearby <br />I feel the need, the want <br />for eyes to smile into, for <br />arm to cling to when I am tired <br />never there.
