Such a beatuful flute lies alone on the shelf <br />It shone brightly, freshly polished without need of help <br />But with out wind, no music was produced <br />So he picked it up in hopes of making this flute <br />A part of him, so he placed his lips <br />Gently upon it, along with his finger tips <br />Tenderly he used his fingers, as he began to blow <br />Closing his eyes as melodies started to flow <br />Many heard the sound, and were quickly hypnotized <br />By the cohesion of the two, made all worries subside <br />They were surrounded, people watched bride and groom <br />As they played almost as if no one was in the room <br />He played and played with no end in sight <br />The only thing he knew was this instrument felt so right <br />A harmonious pair, lost without each other <br />That wonder full flute, he held as a lover<br /><br />Shaun Bolden<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-flute-and-i/
