Astonished is what he was as he found he wasn't the only one <br />Beside himself he felt because he let this happen <br />Cold shoulder is what he got for his passion <br />Despair is what he has now <br />Empty is his heart that once was full <br />Feelings of hapiness never to be seen again <br />Good days are gone, he is left in the dark <br />Helpless, this pain has left him that way <br />Incoherent he was after the news broke <br />Jaded is how he felt at the time <br />Knowing love from this point on seemed unreal <br />Lies were being turned into truths <br />Many tried to reach him after, but none were able to do so <br />Nomadic thoughts ran through his head every second <br />Oblivious to anything except the pain he felt <br />Pills would not be able to supress the hurt <br />Quiet was his manner once the reality set in <br />Rescue is what he was in dire need of <br />Self pity is where he wanted to remain <br />Tortured was his soul from being betrayed <br />Unloved is a feeling he never wanted to experience <br />Violent attacks on his heart left it scarred and hardened <br />Without hope is how he is now <br />X is all that's left of what he called a heart <br />Yesterday he was happy <br />Zero is the amount of love he has left.<br /><br />Shaun Bolden<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/abc-s-3/
