Have you ever had a dream about your so called “Dream man” <br />Dream how perfect he looks to the way he talks <br />Dreaming about the time when he said he would always love you <br />But what happen when you wake up and realize that your dream is a nightmare. <br />I remember my so called “dream man” like it was yesterday <br />I remember all the times he cheated and I took him back <br />I remember when he stood me up on my birthday for what he said “ Boy’s Night Out” <br />I remember the first “little love tap” he gave me to the hard slap that bruised my lip <br />As I reminisce the past with him, finding out that it was never what I wanted <br />I see all the pain, the heartaches, and the scares he gave me <br />Knowing now that he was never my dream only a night mare <br />That I wish I had waken up from.<br /><br />Cassy Woods<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/so-called-dream-man/
