Here I am stuck inside on Valentine's <br />How I want you to be mine <br />Cause you are the one who set me free <br />The one who says all the right things <br /> <br />You make me laugh even when something is stupid that you said <br />But I wouldn't change it for nothing in this world <br />I just wish I could talk to you tonight <br />That would make my heart happy <br /> <br />I stayed up for about three hours last night <br />Thinking of you and wishing I could talk to you more <br />And I was thinking of all the times we shared <br />All those talks we had and I never wanted to leave not even a single one <br /> <br />You had me at hello <br />You get me more than any one else does <br />And how can that be when you live nine ours from me <br />You remember things I thought you'd forget by now <br /> <br />But do you remember the important thing of all <br />Do you remember those words <br />'I love you' you told me that time after time <br />Then after a while you quit saying those words <br /> <br />Then you became to busy to even say a single word to me <br />Now I sit and wonder why I even bother with you <br />And I wonder why you leave me hanging during conversations that we have <br />Like the other night there was no good bye <br /> <br />You left me hanging but I guess I should be used to that by now <br />And I don't know why I'm still even craving for you <br />As mid night approaches and Valentine's ends <br />I wonder who did you go with tonight <br /> <br />Even though I know I won't know her <br />But I'm curious to know what you did or <br />Did you work all night <br />While I was stuck at home watching the time roll how I just want to know <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />February 14,2008<br /><br />ESPN CHICK<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/stuck-alone-on-valentine-s-i-wonder/
