I have had a <br />Vampire nightmare. <br />The night rises like a curtain <br />After a long nights hunt. <br />I run back home <br />Before the light bulb sun <br />Turns my skin to ash. <br /> <br />I run inside my room <br />And I close the shades. <br />It’s 7: 00 in the early morning rise. <br />I lie in bed, and close my eyes. <br /> <br />I dreamt of myself, <br />Myself untouched. <br />I dreamt of me, <br />Walking in the sunlight. <br />An hour later, <br />I started to burn. <br />I looked at my hands, <br />And I see flames. <br /> <br />I turn and run inside. <br />I feel the urge to feed, <br />But no one is there to see. <br /> <br />I wake up at a knock on my door. <br />I climb out of bed <br />And I open the door. <br />No one is there. <br />I turn to go back to bed <br />When I feel warm. <br />I look at my hands and they turn to ash. <br /> <br />I wake up, <br />And I am still alive. <br />I have had a <br />Vampire Nightmare.<br /><br />Jade DragonHeart<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/vampire-nightmare/
