Of course you knew that your words <br />flowing freely through cyberspace <br />would be misunderstood <br /> <br />as they always have been and will be <br />Mention saints and somehow stone <br />replicas come to mind <br /> <br />Never mind that stone statues last <br />while saints words and deeds melt <br />and dissolve with time <br /> <br />Words and actions of those we call <br />saints we attempt to preserve in <br />print and in stone <br /> <br />Though scheming men and women strive <br />for the laurel crown bestowed by priests <br />and kings and ignorant mobs <br /> <br />The concepts that motivate the actions <br />of saints are difficult to discern by you <br />and me.
