Say it with flowers 'they' say; <br />but roses have a thorny stem <br />which by chance may pierce tenderness <br />and if I gave her ivy <br />she would think me a strange, clinging vine <br />or perhaps some buttercups, <br />all too yellow to express blue, <br />well perhaps a sunflower? <br />No too blazon, reaching, tall. <br />A primrose!
