Reflecting the past, I had a vision <br />It rolled in with the sea <br />Where all my hurt's were washed up <br />Swirling and lapping at my feet <br /> <br />The sands then circled tickling <br />The arches of my souls <br />Cool sprays of the white wash <br />Danced and etched between my toes <br /> <br />The ocean breezes swept around me <br />As a blanket snug and warm <br />With this nature so perfectly placed <br />I felt serenity re-born <br /> <br />As I cast all my concerns out <br />Just as fisherman with line <br />The waves rolled in dancing <br />Until the shores they eagerly found <br /> <br />My hurt's then swirled and gathered <br />And became enveloped in the tide <br />Then out through the crystal waters <br />They took their final ride.<br /><br />Angels Ink<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/hurt-s-final-ride/
