In such a night as this <br />I drove a stake through <br />the heart of the Day when <br />the mist entered my room <br />dissolved in yellow moonlight.. <br /> <br />In such a night as this <br />I broke my mirror and <br />threw out of the window <br />my rosary and necklace <br />which bore the locket of sunlit day. <br /> <br />In such a night as this <br />my ears opened to the <br />unheard sweet tunes of the <br />Children of the Night.. <br />(Listen to them.
