Blossom like snowflakes <br />Are falling around me <br />As wind gently blows through the trees, <br />I welcome the morning <br />The sun's slowly rising <br />With sounds of the birds and the bees. <br /> <br />Daffodils yellow <br />They glow in the sunlight <br />And dwell in the meadow divine, <br />A picture of beauty <br />I capture the feeling <br />Forever this moment is mine. <br /> <br />Crocuses violet <br />Are so reassuring <br />To see them brings joy to my heart, <br />Spring is belonging <br />And cold days are over <br />Such pleasure this day does impart. <br /> <br />Tulips of scarlet <br />Are lining the pathway <br />Far as my eyes now can see, <br />Leading me onwards <br />To witness their wonder <br />Then all of my wishes will be.<br /><br />ANDREW BLAKEMORE<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/blossom-like-snowflakes/
