She had a birthday <br />Just a few days ago... <br />And she is no longer a young chick, <br />For she just turned ninety-four! ! <br /> <br />She remembered the very day <br />A school WAGON passed her way, <br />But she still had to walk <br />For it came too late for her. <br /> <br />She remembered very well, too, <br />The day a man walked on the moon... <br />And was amazed at what her life <br />Had seen come to pass! <br /> <br />Many loved ones have come and gone, <br />And charming Kathleen has lived long. <br />She is always very kind to me, <br />In sharing her love, you see. <br /> <br />Her head is crowned with snow, <br />And, in her age and wisdom, <br />Her beauty and her pride <br />Will continue to grow. <br /> <br />Yet her beautiful heart <br />Is younger than my own, <br />And her amazing spirit <br />Is ever joyful to behold. <br /> <br />From Century 1900 <br />To Century 2000, <br />This amazing woman <br />Has journeyed far. <br /> <br />Linda Treat <br />March 19,2008 <br /> <br />Written for my Beloved 'Aunt' and one of my very Dearest Friends, <br />Kathleen.
