Coldly sadly descend the brutal winter morning, <br />People waked up to a sudden commotion, <br />Rushed to their balconies with curious eyes; <br />A grey bearded man, <br />Sporting round skull cap, <br />Short salawar and long pheran, <br />Standing on a wall, <br />Fingers in his ears <br />Clamored Allah ho Akbar. <br /> <br />Warmly coolly descend the summer evening, <br />Children rushed to the bushes, <br />To collect a floating kite, <br />There was a flutter, <br />All rushed helter shelter for cover. <br />Black bearded men, sporting round skull cap, <br />Short salwar and long pheran, <br />Hiding behind the bushes. <br />Then there was cleaking and clanking of gums. <br /> <br />People heard the volley of bullets <br />Dusty earth was splattered with the blood of innocent, <br />Men with the guns, <br />Shouted Allah ho Akbar. <br /> <br />People were warmly hugging each other, <br />Men, women sporting beautiful dresses, <br />Lovelorn maidens sporting girdled duppattes, <br /> A bearded man appeared with a sphere in hand, <br />Sporting round skull cap, <br />Short salawar and long pheran, <br />Sexy lasses thought that he is going, <br />To make a Gajra for their fluttering locks, <br />But the next moment <br />He beheaded a bleating goat <br />All and sundry clamored together, <br />Allah ho Akbar, Eid Mubarak. <br /> <br /> <br />Where is Allah! <br />On the wall or in the bushes or in the spear, <br />In the maze of meaningless rites <br />Perhaps all are mistaken <br />Wisdom and goodness, they are Allah. <br />But-miss define Allah. <br />Kabira long ago echoes it on the banks of Divine Ganga. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />From: <br />DR.
