As I glance around for inspiration <br />I see nothing <br />I feel nothing <br />I am nothing <br />So I write of the randomness <br />There on my wall <br />The bright vibrant colors <br />Not like me at all <br />The cute stuffed animals <br />All over the place <br />I've collected for years <br />Yet of me, not a trace <br />I see cheerful pictures <br />Of my friends and I <br />My, how I look <br />So cheerful, so alive <br />Ahh...the withering roses <br />Up there on the shelf <br />Something to finally <br />Resemble myself <br />Once so vibrant <br />Alive and full <br />Now blackening <br />Dying similar to my soul <br />Until I met you <br />And the sun again shone <br />But you'll never know <br />That you kept me alive <br />I simply can't tell you <br />So now...
