the same morning, <br />the same news paper, <br />the same violence <br />inflicted upon <br />body, mind and soul, <br />only names of people <br />and place differ, <br /> <br />the same office, <br />drab faces, files <br />loans and non-payments, <br />the same boss, <br />his selfishness, <br />tortured mind <br />and soul <br />if there is one in me, <br /> <br />the same <br />trudge back to home, <br />wife and children, <br />tv, drab serials, <br />my channel and your news, <br />bloody news, <br />tug of war, swollen face, <br />hurt ego, <br /> <br />lying sleepless on the <br />undone bed, <br />ceiling fan whirs, <br />artificial sky, stars, saturn <br />swim back into the horizon, <br /> <br />unsaid, undeclared <br />i go back to you <br />and <br />find charms, <br />recalling and revisiting <br />the poetry narrated to you, <br /> <br />i <br />the defeated warrior Prince <br />in a war never fought, <br />hoist the flag <br />of surrender, <br />and <br />slowly, but surely, <br />your name in my lips, <br />into the world of poesy, you and me <br />and <br />in drowning consciousness, <br />i slowly <br />lose myself.... <br /> <br />..atp.. <br />30.04.2008.<br /><br />samyak jain<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-same-morning/
