Today I am having a little trip <br />down the happy memory lane, <br />thinking of some of those crazy things <br />that we used to do. <br />Remember Flower Power, <br />peace and love. <br />Where the latest fashions <br />were retrieved <br />from the neighbours rubbish bin. <br />Then drift from that to another crazy <br />that was strictly ladies, <br />no men allowed. <br />It was the rise of the paper knickers <br />or panties to my American friends. <br />They had one drawback though, <br />when they got wet, <br />they disintegrated and revealed everything. <br />Another passing phase <br />that drifted into the history books. <br /> <br />28 April 2008<br /><br />David Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-pair-of-paper-knickers-fun-poem-75/
