Chosen people <br /> <br /> <br />We are the chosen people of God: <br /> <br />because we are good and the others are bad; <br /> <br />because we are the greatest among the nations <br />and the rest of the world are the least; <br /> <br />because we are the holy children of light <br />and 'they': sons and daughters of darkness; <br /> <br />because we are righteous who keep the law <br />and outside of us are wicked; <br /> <br />because we are the race who entered into the covenant <br />and 'they': men and women who sin against Yahweh; <br /> <br />because we are the sheep of His flock <br />and 'they': goats wondering in the land of the gentiles. <br /> <br />"We are the chosen people of God." <br /> <br />That's what my religion is telling me <br />but I don't know what does it really means - <br /> <br />And I don't know "which" God exactly who choose us <br /> <br />Alas!
