Hot tubs have their benefits, <br />I think. <br /> <br />45 degrees out <br />but heating up in here, <br />I find bare skin <br />And pull her close, <br /> <br />A bare bodied embrace. <br /> <br />It amazes me how fragilely <br />defined a woman can be. <br />The strength I embody as a man, <br />Overpowering, <br />Protecting, <br />Yet somehow, <br />sometimes <br />Afraid to use it. <br /> <br />In her smile, <br />only a longing for strength. <br />A complete union of passion and protection. <br /> <br />What a mischievous smile. <br /> <br />Wrapped up in the heat <br />I watch as wrapped legs <br />Seem to somehow still surprise me. <br /> <br />The legs of a dancer. <br /> <br />Better to return the favor <br />With the grip of a wrestler. <br /> <br />Steamy, heated, <br />Bubbling embrace. <br />She bites down hard on my lip <br />While the rhythmic pounding of the water’s <br />Course, <br />Seems to pursue the rhythm defined in <br />our own movements. <br /> <br />She must be creative, <br />This one loves to feel. <br /> <br />Top undone, <br />Bottom parted, <br />Legs wrapped, <br />Hot tub movements, <br /> <br />I’m suddenly happy <br />In my choice of restaurants. <br /> <br /> <br />Copyright (c) David DeSantis<br /><br />David DeSantis<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-new-date-3/
