The day dragged on as noontime loomed <br />Well wishes serve to remind one <br />the dread of losing and facing doom <br />If preparation was overdone <br /> <br />but enter first the empty hall <br />and zone in with the atmosphere <br />pick up a racquet and a ball <br />serve it to the stratosphere <br /> <br />hungry thirst one hundred gallons <br />only drown in weight and water <br />worse, the want of gold medallion <br />the plaque that everyone was after <br /> <br />Now it had come down to two <br />but only one would reign supreme <br />Surely to one who dared to do <br />Who pushed his body to extremes <br /> <br />The cock has landed! just on the line <br />barely in, but surely so, yet <br />brains to register on overtime <br />the ball was in.
