I was looking through the croud and I saw, <br />Something that no paws not even one small claw, <br />I saw someone who I thought I did love, <br />I thought this person was sent from above, <br />He and me thought we were meant to be, <br />But we were not meant to be, him and me, <br />So I just ignored him and walked away, <br />I stopped and turned but i did not stay, <br />To forget him would be a hard delay, <br />He glanced at me and i could tell he knew, <br />'I will never find another quite like you' <br />I merely said nothing but i waved goodbye, <br />I walked away and heard him softly sigh, <br />I walked away but turned and said goodbye.<br /><br />Sarah Harris<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/goodbye-213/
