Listening to the birds a chatter and the <br />mother's feverishly trying to teach the <br />young how to eat, with each little <br />move she made, the young would <br />mock till they got it right <br /> <br />Why can't life be this simple, why <br />must complications always enter <br />when we are trying our best to do <br />what we feel is right <br /> <br />Scattering about as furriously as <br />the mother squirel was showing <br />her young to run fast from danger, <br />following her command up the tree <br />they ran <br /> <br />Why cant we understand when danger <br />is about to harm us for a lifetime, why <br />is it so difficult to decipher right from <br />wrong <br /> <br />I dont think we will ever know the <br />mysterious ways of life, we will <br />only except what is given to us <br />as the bird, and the squirrel, do <br />not ask, just accept........<br /><br />Bonnie Collins<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/acceptance-27/
