Something lost in the rustic leaves <br />Of an old September song <br />I've found again in summer retrieves <br />Of June daydreaming long <br />Feelings I thought were lost and gone <br />Full of hope in their breeze <br />Are here again to carry me on <br />In their sideways of believes <br /> <br />Yesterday became young and new <br />Catching the slight softly leaves <br />That yellow brown withering blew <br />Near into the oblivion eves <br />Fresh again every pathway is <br />Coming full of musing fantasies on <br />Treetops in their peeks and whiz <br />Summer days of pulchritudinous yon <br /> <br />Summer is like a song that comes <br />With full chorus lines rising <br />And into every verdure space hums <br />Full of tincturing surprising <br />The love songs spring tides weaving <br />Much hope to look forward to <br />After a dimwitted night aggrieving <br />Before June roads came through <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(A song from my ‘Beautiful Melodies’, a lead sheet shall follow shortly on the net)<br /><br />Peter S.
