Her self inflicted torture is not pain, <br />But it is the relationship strain. <br />She cant leave what was just be, <br />And she is trying to get you to agree. <br />You try and tell her that it just wont last. <br />And that all your feelings are in the past. <br /> <br />She’s so addicted to you, <br />But you can will never see what you do. <br />All the tears she has cried. <br />And how she wishes shed just die. <br />But she just paints on that fake smile, <br />Thinking some how maybe its worthwhile. <br /> <br />So this is to her self inflicted addiction. <br />She cant get away from this infliction. <br />He’s always right beside her. <br />Like some sort of constant reminder, <br />Of how bad it feels to be so alone, <br />And how far apart they have grown.<br /><br />lilly mandrell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/self-infliction-2/
