I found love for once in my life <br />It turns out it was like a knife <br />It cutted a piece of me <br />It stole my security <br />I was sure I won’t do that <br />But I didn’t knew my first kiss is what I’m going to get <br /> <br />I’ve felt it, I’ve tried it <br />I used to think, me and love, that doesn’t fit <br />Now I’m confused <br />Did I did it because I wasn’t refused? <br />Was I, am I in love or not? <br />Whatever it was, on it, now, there’s a dot. <br /> <br />I cried no tears <br />All it was left are my fears <br />My love lasted for few days <br />But in that time it showed me many ways <br />Ways I did not knew <br />Ways that never seemed true <br /> <br />I could feel the magic into the night <br />Although it was dark I could see the light <br />The shiniest light in his eyes <br />Light that showed no lies <br />I could hear his voice in my head <br />All my feelings suddenly spread <br /> <br />I still remember our first kiss <br />You can never forget a thing like this <br />I remember the touch of his lips <br />His arms on my hips <br />Him, I will never forget <br />Not a single second I regret <br /> <br />The dearest hooligan I’ve ever met <br />He’ll fall in life, I can almost bet <br />So opposite we are <br />Our interests so far <br />And yet we can laugh together <br />Laugh to his jokes, or else whatever <br /> <br />Since I met him, my life changed <br />It seems like it was rearranged <br />I allowed my heart to rule my way <br />Now it wants for love to stay <br />Love gave me a moment of joy <br />But my life isn’t a toy <br /> <br /> <br />Now it’s all finished <br />My love has vanished <br />He’s still very dear to me <br />But we could both see <br />Our love was not supposed to be <br />And he’s again just a good friend to me <br /> <br /> 01.06.2008<br /><br />Masha Marojevic<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/first-love-62/
