You move through me like sea breeze <br /> <br />I drink in your warmth <br /> <br />Before I know it you’re gone <br /> <br />Leaving me tantalized, never sated <br /> <br /> <br />You show me the sun rise and set <br /> <br />A million stars and the moon glow around you <br /> <br />As you hold me in your arms <br /> <br />The cares of the world dropp away <br /> <br /> <br />For a few quiet moments <br /> <br />You are a wise traveler <br /> <br />Resting in my quiet tent <br /> <br />Pitched at the crossroads of life <br /> <br /> <br />There are many paths <br /> <br />Leading away from this crossroad <br /> <br />Which one is for me, I wonder <br /> <br />Still searching for the right answer <br /> <br /> <br />Waiting for a sign, or someone <br /> <br />Maybe the alchemist who will release <br /> <br />A missing element into my life’s cauldron <br /> <br />Turning me, to the path I seek. <br /> <br /> <br />© 09 June 2008, Anita Atina<br /><br />Anita Atina<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/at-the-cross-roads-of-life/
