*Thud* as you hear, <br />A cat jump down, <br />Turn around to check, <br />Nothing there, <br />*Meow* goes a cat, <br />Where from? <br />I don't see, <br />Something wrapping around your legs, <br />Go away smokey, <br />You look down nothing there, <br />*Jump* as the bed bounced, <br />The cat jumped on the bed, <br />But you look....there's no cat, <br />*creak* goes the door, <br />The cat sneaked out, <br />But no cat to be seen, <br />You hear a cat eating/drinking, <br />But there's no bowls or cat, <br />Whats making these noises? <br />There's no cat, not no more, <br />He died on 20th may, <br />so what makes these movements? <br />Not the dog he's too noisy, <br />Could it be smokey's spirit? <br />To say he's ok? <br />Or is it just your mind playing tricks, <br />Making you think he is still around. <br /> <br />Wrote this about loosing my baby smokey (the cat)<br /><br />StaceyLeigh Olner<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/mind-playin-tricks/
