From rush of time few moments, <br />another day ends here unaware. <br />In abrupt black out, eyelids hang. <br />dark tentacles of sleep clasp memory. <br /> <br />One day I stopped, just went blank <br />A moment propped me up. Oh! great <br />I saw world toady in real fineness, <br />where beauty still manifests in style. <br /> <br />A dropdown menu displays on screen. <br />Satellite sends pictures of cosmic dream. <br />I look through display window to future. <br />A pigeon sits on sill with olive branch in beak. <br /> <br />I play with mouse clicking off gloom. <br />Chiming clock beckons my attention. <br />Behind glass panes world still buzzes. <br />Azure sky glaze down on my courtyard. <br /> <br />A breeze gently lifts dry leafs off my chest, <br />memories murmur scrubbing my brain. <br />Screen of mind animate images of fear, <br />as childhood once again runs amuck wildly. <br /> <br />Ghosts of past still haunts in thoughts, <br />nostalgic smells of ancestors hang in corridors. <br />Here we met in our chat room behind barn. <br />where we had our first bliss in wilderness. <br /> <br />Screen saver props up as my idle hands rest. <br />Sleep howls from depth of soul again n’ again. <br />I rest on your shoulder as my dream come true. <br />As we breathe slowly, I sign off to infinite depths. <br />____________________<br /><br />Satheesan Rangorath<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/some-sleepy-thoughts/
