Standing on the edge <br />Of the cliff <br />Looking down at Rough River Lake <br />From 30 ft up… <br /> <br />Clear the mind <br />Look up at the sky- <br /> <br />And jump <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Hold your breath <br />On the way down <br />Because you never know <br />When you’ll hit <br />The water’s surface- <br /> <br />You penetrate and <br />feel the shock <br />of the cold water- <br /> <br />Never quite enough air- <br /> <br />Which way is up? <br /> <br />How long will it take <br />to breathe air again? <br /> <br />Relax <br />And float <br />To the surface- <br /> <br />Look up at the cliff <br />And watch me <br /> <br /> <br />jump<br /><br />R.P.
