Before I lay my head to rest- <br />I've some things left to say. <br />Please dear God don't bury me <br />Before the dawn of day. <br /> <br />Angels keep me safe and smile: <br />As I toss and turn. <br />Naughty dreams, stay far from me. <br />For God only I yearn. <br /> <br />Know you of my early sins; <br />Drugs, the touch, and all. <br />Bolt my feet tight to a cloud; <br />At night I'll never fall. <br /> <br />Lastly, take my pain away: <br />Uneasiness and stress. <br />Know I not religion, <br />But I've heard it works the best. <br /> <br />This I promise I will do: <br />Sin all day 'til ten. <br />Then I'll come right back to you- <br />This I pray.
