This is my first poem. I wrote it when i was 10 years old. According to me it is not as good as 'The everlasting smile'. <br /> <br /> <br />Rain - the most beautiful <br />of Mother Nature's gifts <br />which can bring up my spirits <br />when it is as low as the ground. <br />The pitter-patter of rain drops <br />bring joy to my mind, <br />it makes me a child once again.... <br /> <br />I remember the rainy days <br />in my childhood, <br />when we spent all our time <br />splashing through the water, <br />sailing boats in it <br />imagining the little puddles <br />to be the mighty sea. <br /> <br />And now when I remember <br />those good old days, <br />I understand that life is not full of sorrow <br />or full of grief <br />It is also as joyful as the rain <br />which can bring up the spirits of many mortals....<br /><br />Aswathi Nair K<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/rain-my-first-poem/
