Friends are just like flowers. <br />They are all so pretty and sweet. <br />They come in many sizes, <br />some short, and others, higher than towers. <br /> <br />They bloom and blossom, from day to day, <br />and bring us loveliness, along the way, <br />as they lighten our loads with fragrance, <br />of special feelings, and even romance. <br /> <br />There are many different images, <br />that they may also present to us. <br />Some are like the smell of lilacs, <br />and others are like the rose of love. <br /> <br />Some are like peace lilies, <br />that keep us all together, and frilly. <br />There are beautiful daffodils, <br />that enlighten our way, with golden hills. <br /> <br />There are friends, that are like the Iris. <br />They smell so nice, and are so Purus and fiery. <br />They keep us on the path of righteousness, <br />and in turn, are always right beside us. <br /> <br />So every time you recieve a flower, <br />just think about your friends, <br />cause from one of them so loving and tender, <br />is usually from whom it, is sent. <br /> <br />By Shirley shaw<br /><br />Fahmeeda Jazamuddin<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/friends-are-like-flowers-2/
