As i sit back and try to relax, <br />I think about all the old times ill never get back... <br />The only thing i ever lost and couldn't find was time, <br />So i let my thoughts marinate in my mind... <br />Someone once told me that whoever forsakes the old way fot the new knows what they are losing but not what they will find.... <br />Thats a choice that i will have to make, <br />and a chance i will have to take... <br />I wish i could just fall back and live on Easy street, <br />Then i wouldnt have to lie and never have to cheat... <br />Maybe my life is someone else's dream, or maybe its my own #&@%ing nightmare, <br />I dont see my own problems so therefor i dont care, <br />I see everyone else's problems and do nothing but stare... <br />That could be my dilema in the first place, <br />But i dont have the guts to look in the mirror and see it face to face....<br /><br />Joey Habib<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-look-at-myself/
