In my shell... <br />Not knowing my life was gonna become hell <br />'Don't hurt me! ' were the words I screamed... <br />As he lashed out his anger beamed <br />All alone... <br />In my own zone <br />Their mocking words peircing my heart, like a sword... <br />They were not ignored <br />In my room crying... <br />I wish I had been dying <br />Rejection sent me running... <br />But my newly found love was too cunning <br />He sent me home <br />Out of my shell I decided to roam <br />I spread my wings and hoped to fly <br />Instead, I fall and cry <br />Why'd you leave? ! <br />Cuts beneath my sleave... <br />I no longer want to be here... <br />Because you're no-where near <br />Don't you see? !
