From afar I glance at you, <br />like everyday before this, <br />waiting for the right time, <br />waiting to be by your side. <br /> <br />You walk by and I freeze, <br />as I can't imagine what to say, <br />being too scared of what you might think, <br />not being brave enough to rejection. <br /> <br />As I write you love letters, <br />seducing letters which inscribe my love, <br />saying everything I feel toward you, <br />everything I want to do to you. <br /> <br />Meanwhile I feel deprived, <br />as I crave you and always have, <br />and you just glance over me, <br />even so I will continue writing to you. <br /> <br />You try to find out who they are from, <br />yet I sit here and continue writing, <br />waiting for that day to reveal myself, <br />and show you who I actually am. <br /> <br />Even so I write from afar, <br />not letting you know who I am, <br />loving you from the other side, <br />the other side of the looking glass.<br /><br />Javier Falcon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/secret-admirer-13/
