Do coroners lie when loved ones die? <br />I'm sure their hearts are in the right places, <br />Most diffucult job in the world, far as I can see, <br />Detailing why and wherefore to people they're facing, <br />I was told she died instantly, only way I could go on you see, <br />Police report said her beautiful body was torn in two, <br />This I did not hear from you, <br />But I would never sleep another wink, <br />If I thought she had one minute to think, <br />If she called out for her kids or me, <br />I could not endure with that knowledge you see, <br />If she had one second of regret, <br />Before she breathed her last breath, <br />I recieved the Crocs she had worn, <br />Her favorite Beatles purse still clutched on her arm, <br />Oh it's God's mercy she did not see, <br />The Crown Victoria doing over seventy, <br />Bearing down on her, in my mind I make it blur, <br />There are paths my thoughts want to take, <br />If followed would only lead to more heartache, <br />Barely keep myself and the kids going, <br />Praying it's truth, but still not knowing, <br />Do coroners lie when loved ones die?<br /><br />Vallerie Lobell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/do-coroners-lie-when-loved-ones-die/
