An Illusion lives in every mind <br />In every corner in every eye <br />It shows colours and dilutes gradually <br />Fiddles with brains and blurs reality <br />Sometimes it takes years <br />Sometimes it takes lives <br />But they are walking, talking and breathing lies <br />Mornings don’t wake you up <br />Nights don’t make them sleep <br />Has the usual ending just leftovers in peace <br />Some diseases have a cure some not <br />But one illusion is another’s cure <br />They breed under the same skin <br />Doesn’t discriminate between sins <br />They are written tragedies <br />A smooth play <br />A play of sorts, of lost reasons and creative dots <br />We are victims of the same air <br />With unreal smiles and its all fair.<br /><br />KUNAL SETH<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/an-illusion-s-life/
