Let me take you on a journey <br />To a land where I once played <br />Where nature sculpted landscapes <br />So bizarre, they seemed man-made <br /> <br />Across a bridge of moss and stone <br />That spun with each step took <br />Till all your senses merged as one <br />Your ears could smell, your nose could look. <br /> <br />No barriers to hold you back <br />No rules or regimen to follow <br />The choice to dredge the blackest Ocean <br />Or soar aboard a giant swallow <br /> <br />There where paupers sat on thrones <br />Firing wishes from their palms <br />While kings and queens seemed quite content <br />To plough the meadow, tend the lambs <br /> <br />Where all that was, had never been <br />The past was yet to come <br />A rehearsal for reversal land <br />Revealed, only to some <br /> <br />And where with luck the Happy Tree <br />Shed its leaves o’er every nation <br />Does this land seem familiar yet? <br />Its called, Imagination.<br /><br />Danny Reynolds<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/014-quiet-there-s-a-sh-in-front-of-angry-la/
